About Cheltenham Connect

The Cheltenham Connect Team 2009
Cheltenham Connect is a vibrant local community initiative that was set-up in 2009 with the aim of ‘strengthening and empowering the residential and trading community of the area known as South Cheltenham'. For the purposes of Cheltenham Connect South Cheltenham is defined as the combined areas of Leckhampton, Naunton Park, The Bath Road (south), Tivoli, The Park and the Suffolks.
The initiative has achieved considerable support and success since it was launched in June 2009 and now has a website, four action groups, 400+ online members and more than 1200 people receving its monthly newsletter list.
Cheltenham Connect believes that small and locally run shops really matter and that they help to create and maintain a sense of community. It also believes that trading ethics are crucially important as we enter an era focused on reducing our carbon footprint.
