6 Suffolk Road (now residential)

From 1851 up to 1857 this was occupied by a William Felton, Tailor & Draper, and during 1852 an Academy which one wonders what 'an academy' was? We don’t know what trade filled the gap between 1857 and 1871,  but by  1871 this unit together with 3 and 4,  was still occupied by one W Felton, Tailor & Hatter. Then by 1881 this all changed and the new owner was George Hadley Lane, Cricket Outfitter (Tailor). From 1891 up to 1969 this was occupied as above where it refers above to property 4 & 6.
