Armada Antiques (formerly Suffolk Garage)
David Gwyther (November 2016) writes;
"I remember this garage as a child in the 50s when my family lived in the flat over the chemist shop (now a Balti house) on the corner of Suffolk Road and Gt. Norwood Street. The garage had a number of lock-up garages for rent, where my father kept his 1938 Rover 12 saloon. I often rode on the running-board when he drove from the flat to the garage. Cars wanting fuel parked by the pavement and the petrol was delivered basically in the road. Health 'n' Safety would have a fit."
