"... my fathers side of the family came from Cheltenham. Looking through the census I found that my great grandmother's first husband Job Lyes was the publican in 1871. In 1881 the census states that only Louisa was the publican as Job had died earlier in that year. She must have given it away when she married my great grandfather Thomas A. Clinton in 1884."
